Most regular household moves require a three man moving team, which allows for specialized tasks within the move and resulted in a smoother and more efficient job. Quotes are based on $180 per hour including GST. ✓ Our trained staff ensure all furniture surfaces are properly covered, and polished surfaces are wrapped, and stacked appropriately to ensure damage does not occur during the moving process. Items that are dismantled are reassembled at the customer's destination. ✓ All the proper equipment to move your precious items including: Piano Lifters, Large Furniture Trolleys, White ware harnesses etc. This equipment ensures your items are moves safely, with minimum risk to your items or the building it is being moved within.
✓ The Kāpiti Removals Trucks include tail lifters for extra heavy items, ferry hooks for crossing Cooks Straight, and all the necessary Strops blankets, and padding to ensure your furniture can be moved professionally without incident.
✓ Our Policy is to leave it how we found it. If we dismantle something to move it, we reassemble it when delivered to the client's destination. If you have used our packing service then we will return to pick up the empty boxes at no charge. (Sorry but this offer does not extend to rubbish and unwanted items.)
Insurance
For insurance of your items in transit and storage, please discuss with us prior to the move and we will assist you in finding the right insurance solution. A full packing service is available and when items are packed by our people your insurance excess can be reduced by up to $400. Kāpiti Removals cannot move dangerous or oversized goods.
