Helpful Tips
Polishing Furniture
While it may look shiny and new, polish can make surfaces slippery and harder—and more dangerous—for our team to carry safely.
Liquids
Please keep all liquid containers upright when packing.
Be sure to clearly mark boxes with arrows and label them “THIS WAY UP” to help prevent spills during the move.

Packing Drawers and Boxes
Please don’t overload drawers with books, fragile, or heavy items.
Our team is strong—but safety comes first, and we want to avoid injuries and damage during your move.

Avoid overfilling large boxes with heavy items.
It’s safer and easier—for both you and us—if heavy things are packed into smaller boxes instead.
Please make sure that your boxes have lids on and are taped flat, without bulges and do not under-fill the boxes either.

Remember to tape, not fold the bottoms and tops of your boxes shut.

Plants and Fragile Items
If we’re moving your plants, please avoid watering them just before the move.
Wet pots can leak or become unstable in transit.

Label boxes clearly with “FRAGILE” or “TOP STOW” when needed, but keep in mind—not everything can ride on top!

Health and Safety
Leave the heavy lifting to us—that’s what we’re here for!
Our team is trained to handle bulky and heavy items safely.

Be sure to let us know ahead of time about everything you plan to move.
Last-minute surprises can slow things down and complicate the process.

For everyone’s safety, please keep children and pets away from the movers.
It helps prevent accidents and keeps the moving area clear.

At the New Location
Please be at your new address when we arrive so you can guide us on where you’d like your items placed.
It helps us get everything just right—exactly where you want it!

Check the access to your old and new property before moving day.
If there are low-hanging branches or obstacles that could block a large truck, trimming them in advance will help the move go more smoothly.
