Most regular household moves require a three man moving team, which allows for specialized tasks within the move to enable a smoother and more efficient job.
For smaller and odd jobs, however, we are flexible in both the size and type of vehicle and the number of movers required so we can adapt to your needs.

All furniture surfaces are properly covered, polished surfaces are wrapped and stacked appropriately to ensure damage does not occur during the moving process.
Items that are dismantled are reassembled at the customer's destination.
Our Policy is to leave it how we found it. If we dismantle something to move it, we reassemble it when delivered to the client's destination. If you have used our packing service, then we will return to pick up the empty boxes at no charge.
(This offer does not extend to rubbish and unwanted items.)
Insurance
For insurance of your items in transit and storage, please discuss with us prior to the move and we will assist you in finding the right insurance solution. A full packing service is available and when items are packed by our people your insurance excess can be reduced by up to $400.
Kapiti Removals cannot move dangerous or oversized goods.

To help keep costs down and to do our little bit for the environment, you are offered the choice of using our recycled box service.
If you prefer to use new boxes, then we can provide those as well.
Don’t forget, we are also available to unpack when you get to the other end.
We also a de-cluttering service for customers before they present their home
for sale. Having our own storage facility enables a lot of unsightly mess to be out of the eye of a potential home buyer.
Storage
We operate our own Secure Container Storage Park situated at
21 Birmingham Street, Paraparaumu.
Whether you require short or long term storage, Kapiti Road Storage offers security and accessibility from our centrally located facility in the heart of the
Paraparaumu industrial precinct.
The business offers 62 Storage Units which are 20ft insulated storage containers. These have been modified with wooden floors and lockboxes. All containers are lined with stainless steel providing insulated, watertight, fireproof, rodent-proof,
clean and secure storage.
The container compound is surrounded by a security fence and cameras monitor movement in and out of the area 24/7. Eyes-on Security Company opens and closes the compound each day to allow self-storage customers to access their goods.
These 6 X 2.4m containers will fit the contents of a regular 3 bedroom house.
